This website does not use tracking cookies

The herdingchickens.com marketing website does not currently set any analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any similar tool on this site.

Our sign-up and contact forms work without cookies. Your browser may still remember form fields using its own autofill settings — that is controlled by your browser, not by us.

We have no third-party embeds (such as social widgets or video players) that would set their own cookies at present.

Browser storage we use

When you dismiss the cookie notice at the bottom of the page, we store a single preference in your browser's localStorage so we do not show the notice again on future visits:

  • Key: hc-cookie-notice-dismissed
  • Purpose: remember that you have read the notice
  • Duration: until you clear site data in your browser
  • Personal data: none — only a flag that the notice was dismissed

This is not used for tracking or advertising. It does not require consent under UK PECR because it is strictly necessary to honour your choice about the notice itself.

Strictly necessary cookies

If we ever add features that require session handling (e.g. a logged-in newsletter preference centre), we will use strictly necessary cookies for that functionality and list them here. Those would not require consent under UK PECR.

If we add analytics in future

Before adding any non-essential cookies or scripts, we will:

  • Update this policy to name each cookie, its purpose, and duration
  • Update our Privacy Policy
  • Add a consent mechanism before any tracking scripts load
  • Not set non-essential cookies unless you accept

Managing cookies and site data

You can clear localStorage and cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will show the cookie notice again on your next visit. Blocking cookies should not affect your ability to use the forms on this site. See your browser's help pages for instructions.
